Lifestyle boutique hotel The Collector is a basecamp for travelers. For curious minds, and explorers who use their senses to gather experiences and share their stories. Whether they are objects, stories or experiences, we all collect. And we want to share our collection. Take a look at the wonderful architecture mix of our courtyard with monumental facades, the eclectic design of our rooms, our collection of high and low-brow art, our specialty coffee, snacks & lunch dishes - together they form a fascinating collection that represents who we are. The Collector therefore offers more than just comfort, style and hospitality - it is a place that invites and encourages you to share.
In December 2019, The Collector opened its doors at the Haagsche Bluf in The Hague. At this moment, we are looking for a parttime or fulltime All-round F&B Ambassador who has a hands-on approach and loves diversity in his or her work. Someone who is determined to exceed all expectations.
WHICH MEANS…

Hospitality is part of who you are
Your responsibilities will be during breakfast: setting up the buffet, serving out orders, cleaning up the breakfast area
You will help out in the kitchen: preparing/set up the breakfast buffet, preparing orders form guets, preparing for the next day, cleaning up the kitchen
You are responsible for making various kinds of specialty coffee, placing and handing out orders
You proactively anticipate on the guests’ needs, whether it is F&B, housekeeping, or front office related
You help out your front office colleagues during rush hour
You perform well under hectic circumstances and you manage to remain an overview at all times

A colourful personality who aims to establish genuine connections, whether it is with guests or colleagues
You are service minded as you are a natural host
A team player, but you also enjoy working independently
You are proactive, enthusiastic, open-minded, and solution orientated
You have a flexible attitude towards working during weekends

You are

YOUR PAPERS TELL THE REST

You have at least one year F&B experience. Expereince in the kitchen is a plus
You have barista experience and you know your way around a bar
You are fluent in Dutch or English. Any other languages that you might have stumbled upon along the way are much appreciated
Your basecamp is within the region of The Hague
