Welcome to Mr. Jordaan's house, a small boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Jordaan with 34 rooms. But we're not just any boutique hotel. To start, Mr. Jordaan is a haven for travelers, and we go the extra mile to make people genuinely feel at home. Our interaction with guests goes beyond the usual check-in and check-out procedures. We provide our guests with a unique and unforgettable experience, showing them Amsterdam and the Jordaan through our eyes. Service and genuine interest play a crucial role in this. For instance, during breakfast, as our guests savor freshly baked croissants and share their plans for the day with us, we jump in with our personal favorite spots and attractions. Your Day

As a housekeeping team member at Mr. Jordaan, no day is the same. Examples of your responsibilities include:.

Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in both rooms as in public areas
Communicating all relevant information throughout the day directly to the front office
Organizing and providing consistent tidiness
Assisting in-house guests with practical information or special requests when needed

You are...

You are a positive, friendly and helpful person
You are a team player but also enjoy working independently
You have a flexible attitude towards working during weekends
You are a perfectionist with an eye for detail
You have at least 1-year experience in the housekeeping department
You have knowledge of the English or Dutch language and you are able to express yourself in at least one of the languages
You are located in Amsterdam
